Now Hiring: Spirits + Craft Beer Sales Representative

¾ to Full-Time Position | Hourly Wage + Commision, Sales Incentives + Mileage Reimbursement

We're looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Representative to help expand our sales reach across Oregon, bringing our award-winning products to bars, restaurants, retailers, and liquor stores!

Position SUMMARY:

As our Sales Representative, your primary role will be to increase sales across our portfolio, build strong relationships with accounts, and grow brand visibility. You will assume responsibility for identifying and forming new sales relationships, maintaining and servicing current sales accounts and further growing the brands market presence. You'll visit current and potential clients for on-premise and off-premise sales, coordinate beer and spirits tasting events, attend events, and ensure our products are well-stocked and well-loved. Position is ¾ to full time, often including weekend and evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the brands and increase sales of Vivacity and Calapooia products by pursuing new on- and off-premise accounts through territory planning, regular account sales visits, store tastings, promotions, and product merchandising

  • Identify and form new sales relationships, maintaining and servicing current sales accounts and further growing the brands and market presence in bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery store chains, and with product distributors

  • Call on a min. of 25 on- and 10 off-premise quality + actionable accounts in person each week

  • Minimum of 10 sales commitments sold through each week

  • Educate accounts and consumers about our products, production methods, and brand stories

  • Track orders, provide sales reports, and manage account records

  • Merchandise at accounts, monitoring product placement, age, and quality of service

  • Organize and hold store tasting events, by coordinating a team of brand ambassadors

  • Occasionally attend festivals, industry events, and in-store tastings as a brand ambassador

  • Collaborate with production and marketing teams to align sales strategies with brand goals, and maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of our current and future products, business history and company culture.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state liquor laws and compliance practices

  • Report weekly to leadership and sales/marketing team

Ideal candidate:

  • 2+ years of craft beverage sales experience (craft beer, wine, or distilled spirits preferred)

  • Passion for and knowledge of craft beverage styles, production, mixology, and local brewing/distilling community.

  • Effective Communicator - Strong written and verbal communication skills with external clients and internal business team, and the ability to share product knowledge.

  • Interpersonal Skills – ability to actively listen and cooperatively solve problems, relates well to others. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to drive sales.

  • Personal Integrity – exhibits a high degree of professionalism and commitment to following through and achieving results

  • Time Management & Organization – Is able to triage and prioritize both day to day and longer-term projects.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing a sales territory

  • Results Focused – self-motivated, works as hard and long as needed to achieve results

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends

  • Comfortable with technology and mobile applications, proficient with Google Suite, professional email communication and spreadsheets

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Must be 21+ and have reliable transportation required

  • Valid Oregon Driver's License, clean driving record, proof of current auto insurance required

  • Valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit, or able to attain one

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to set up and tear down booths, displays, etc.
